    Premier clay is formulated like LaDoll clay, but contains an additional polymer binder that makes is tougher and stronger. The binder also makes the clay somewhat resistant to sculptor's tools, though some artists can still successfully sculpt the material. The product is popular with miniature doll makers because of its properties. Other sculptors use Premier for thicker objects or for armatures where they apply LaDoll over it for easier detailed sculpting. Premier is great for use in press molds where it can be removed immediately without distorting. Premier's strength is also great for use in thin areas and narrow extensions.
